Gladstone Energy and Ammonia Project

The Gladstone Energy and Ammonia Project (GEAP) is Australia’s largest and most advanced clean hydrogen production project to date. Located on a 129 hectares site outside of Gladstone, the GEAP will be integrated with adjacent gas, fertiliser, explosives, water and power infrastructure.

Gladstone Hydrogen Technology Park

Entered Heads of Agreement with Mineral Carbonation International to develop a magnesium cement plant using carbon dioxide. Developing methanol plants to produce low carbon fuels. Manufacture of inorganic carbonates (e.g. soda ash and calcium carbonate) using carbon dioxide. Encourage Green hydrogen plants to sell hydrogen and oxygen to GEAP.

Gladstone Hydrogen Export Terminal

Develop the Gladstone Hydrogen Export Terminal for ammonia, methanol and carbon dioxide. In discussion with Queensland government regarding expansion of use for existing berths and shore based port facilities, north of Gladstone. Environmental Impact Statement and Commonwealth Approvals to be re-instated.
